Grayson Loudermilk is a law clerk at Padilla Law PLLC. He is interested in pursuing a career in securities, artificial intelligence, fund formations, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital, and national security law. Currently, Grayson is pursuing a Juris Doctorate degree at Texas Law School on an endowed scholarship and is also serving as the Graduate Student Body President.
Grayson has extensive experience working in the federal government. Before attending law school, Grayson worked as an advisor to a member of the United States House of Representatives, turning down a senior staff position because he wanted to be the first person in his family to become a lawyer. Grayson has a strong passion for serving the greater public and the community around him. In law school, Grayson serves on President Hartzell’s Student Advisory Committee and the Faculty Council.
Moreover, throughout college, Grayson gained industry experience by assisting in-house for various corporations, including a multi-billion dollar real estate company, and served as an apprentice to a founding partner at a boutique litigation firm in Atlanta.
Grayson graduated early from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a degree in Risk Management & Insurance, attended Oxford University to study international conflict, and attended Columbia Law School under the supervision of Louis Henkin’s protégé. Grayson was born in Boston, raised briefly outside Washington D.C, grew up in Georgia, and finally settled in Dallas, Texas, four years ago. In his free time, Grayson enjoys playing golf with his friends, peering into the cosmos to photograph Saturn’s rings as an amateur astronomer, and exploring the rare book collection in Tarlton’s Law Library.
