Evgenia is Partner at Padilla Law PLLC.
She has began practicing law in Russia in 1999 before moving to and practicing in the District of Columbia since 2003. She has experience with complex international and domestic corporate and commercial transactions, and business regulatory matters. She also has worked on corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, financings, securitizations, and technology licensing.
Since 2013, she has been also practicing immigration law focusing primarily on employment and investment-based immigration.
She began counseling cryptocurrency businesses since 2015 on transactional and state and federal regulatory matters.
Evgenia has previously worked in Akin Gump, Baker & Hostetler, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, and Pepper Hamilton. She serves as an off counsel to the District of Columbia law firm Cogent LLP.
In addition to the DC and NY bar licenses, she holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) licenses Series 7 (2023) and Series 24 (2024).
